Dear IPA Members,
IPA Board nominations for 2017 are now open. The IPA Board consists of senior executives from sponsor, associate and broker-dealer member firms who provide oversight and strategic leadership to our association and our industry. Central to the IPA’s mission is its industry leading legislative and regulatory advocacy, professional education and public awareness outreach on behalf of all alternative investment participants. The IPA has been instrumental in shaping the future based on the active leadership and vision of its Board.
All nominees are reviewed by a Nomination Committee. The existing IPA Board then votes on the new candidates, who will serve a three year term. There are ten seats open for the three year term that begins January 1, 2017.
To nominate a candidate, you will need to:
- Provide a letter of recommendation
- Submit a recent bio and head shot of the candidate
- Have the candidate complete the Board Questionnaire form
Individuals from IPA member firms are invited to submit their nominees via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 19, 2016. Each nomination packet will be reviewed for consideration by the Board at the IPAVision 2016 conference.
