Dear Members and Friends,
The Executive Committee of the IPA Board of Directors continues to closely monitor updates around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) from local and international health authorities. As previously stated, the health and wellbeing of the IPA’s membership and staff is our highest priority.
At this time, the Executive Committee has decided not to immediately postpone IPASummit and Capitol Hill Day 2020, scheduled for April 27-30 in Washington, D.C. The committee will continue to evaluate the situation on a daily basis and take appropriate, necessary action to ensure the safety of all IPA members. We anticipate making a decision about Summit by early April if not before and any updates will be communicated swiftly and accordingly.
The IPA has been in contact with the Capital Hilton on their guest policy and will communicate necessary updates. We remain confident their senior leadership is taking all necessary steps in response to COVID-19.
IPASummit and Capitol Hill Day remains a flagship IPA event. Despite the current global situation with COVID-19, the IPA is in a strong position to deliver a best-in-class, industry-leading event in the heart of our nation’s capital on critical issues impacting your business.
Please remember that registration fees are fully refundable if the IPA must cancel the event. If you have questions regarding the IPA’s refund policy, please feel free to contact Tony or Tracy Mesterharm at tmesterharm@ipa.com.
Thank you,
Trisha Miller
