The IPA Rising Leaders Council has been created under the guidance of the IPA Board of Directors to recognize future leaders in the Portfolio Diversifying Investments (PDI) industry by providing an opportunity to serve the industry in a leadership capacity early in their careers.
This prestigious new group will be comprised of individuals who are identified by their firms as emerging leaders. Approximately 25 individuals who represent a cross section of IPA’s membership will be selected. Council Members will enter their service together and will collectively serve a 2-year term.
Council Responsibilities: The Council will play a prominent role in leading efforts on behalf of the IPA to introduce professionals and other audiences to the PDI industry, via activities such as helping to create in-person and online programs and participating in advocacy events. In addition, Council Members are expected to attend both the 2020 and 2021 IPAVision conferences and one IPA Summit/Hill Day during their two-year term. This year IPAVision is scheduled for September 21-24 in Chicago.
Council Member Benefits: Council Members will be guests of the IPA Board at their annual luncheon and will participate in a half-day of program designed specifically for the Council during IPAVision. Throughout the years, Council Members will serve as IPA Ambassadors, be introduced at IPA events, featured on the IPA website and in social media, and may be invited to be panelists, speakers or roundtable leaders at IPA conferences and events.
