PIMCO began as a manager of fixed income portfolios and evolved to include active management of open-end funds, close-end funds, ETFs, CITs, private investment funds and structured products. PIMCO is also a provider of solutions services, offering a menu of sophisticated strategies, analysis and advice for clients. PIMCO employs a broad range of portfolio management tools that seek to appropriately manage risk, hedge exposures, and seek returns consistent with client guidelines. We have considerable experience in global investment strategies, which include both fixed income and equity strategies. As markets evolve we will seek to employ new strategies and products.
