General Session 6: Strategies for Private Offerings—Direct Insights from Financial Advisers Serving Their Investor Clientele

The once-reliable 60/40 balanced portfolio, long favored by astute investors, now seems to lag behind the current market dynamics. Traditional public markets, encompassing equities and fixed income, have failed to deliver robust results, prompting investors to seek yield and returns through alternative avenues, notably private market alternatives. Today’s financial advisors are championing new portfolio models to mitigate the risk of overconcentration on familiar asset classes. They are advocating for increased diversification from less conventional yet return-enhancing assets. In this context, gain valuable insights directly from these advisors regarding the evolving demands, concerns, and questions of today’s investors. Discover how alternative investments and inflation-protected assets are becoming integral components of a well-rounded portfolio.
