As a follow up to our April 15 webinar discussing financial regulatory relief responses resulting from the novel coronavirus outbreak, listen in as we discuss recent SEC relief for investment companies, including BDCs and closed-end funds.
We explored the recent March 13 SEC order and the SEC’s April 8 Open Meeting on adopting rules affecting BDCs and closed-end funds. Panelists discussed regulatory and operational challenges in the current environment and measures that firms are taking to address these challenges. Additionally, unpacking implications for the industry within the CARES Act and whether BDCs and closed-end funds were afforded sufficient relief and protection, and what more is needed.
